I have had Fido home internet cable for about 6 months now, and i find it incredible and great. There was hardly any dropped connection except for odd times and that too it lasted for few minutes. I used to have rogers cable internet and i found Rogers frequently had problems with the internet connection. Sometimes when my Fido cable internet gets stuck, i simply reset the router by unplugging the power cable and then waited for 1 minute before plugging back in. It does take quite long to boot up but once when it is fully booted up, it works great.

I like to leave my Fido cable modem on 24 hours everyday because i like to instantly connect to the internet when i reach home. I do no want to have to wait to power up the Fido Internet Modem when i needed to use it, and then shut it off when i finished using it. It is such as waste of time. Besides, it takes very little electricity to keep the Fido cable internet Modem Running.

Pricewise, Fido Cable Internet is cheaper if only you are a current Fido customer which means that you should already have an account with them such as mobile phone plans. If you don't have an account with them before you choose Fido Cable Internet, then Fido charges much more for their internet cable.
