Which home wireless router should i buy to connect all my electronics devices?

I am a big fan of electronics stuff and I enjoy keeping myself up to date with electronics. However, being a nerd with electronics, it can be quite hard to make a decision as to which electronics to buy. In this case, I am looking for a new home wireless router to connect my devices such as Desktop, Tablet, Smartphones. I did use a Netgear wireless router and it did not last very long. I had used it for hardly 5 years and the Netgear router stopped working. No wonder Bestbuy don't carry much of the Netgear brand these days. D Link, TP Link and Linksys seems to be more available in electronic stores.

Cisco Linksys is one of the best wireless router you can buy in Canada. I have tried Netgear and D Link wireless router before and they did not last very long. At the max, they lasted for about 5 years and then they just stopped working. Linksys router on the other hand, had lasted me for more than 8 years and is still going strong. I turned on the router always and I never turn it off. The router hardly gets heated up or lose signals. Except for a few occasional break of internet connection, it just works flawlessly. Linksys wireless router has a wide range of coverage as well and the signal can penetrate through walls whether on the upper floor or on the lower floor. We simply placed our Linksys router on the middle floor to distribute the signals equally between our upper floor and the lower floor.
