Liquid laundry detergent can be quite expensive to buy if you are a heavy users like me. I wash a lot of clothes every three days and i find that they finishes quickly without much notice. There are so many brands of laundry detergent and it can be quite hard to pick the cheapest and the best brand. I do not like the powder laundry detergent because i find that they form lumps, if not wet enough or that they stick to clothes in lumps, if not properly diluted. Powder laundry detergent is not cheap too and can often be more expensive than the liquid ones.

I find that food basic carry the "Xtra" brand of laundry detergent and sometimes they go on sale for $1.99 or even $1.49 per bottle of 2.21 Litres. They come in various beautiful scented smell such as mountain rain, spring sunshine, summer fiesta, oxi clean and many more. I usually just open the lid while in the store and smell them. If i like the scent of the laundry detergent, i would buy them. These "Xtra" laundry detergent had become more concentrated nowadays which means we could put less laundry detergent during the laundry wash and still get the same power and strength, thus saving on having to put in more laundry detergent. Some other stores also carry the "Xtra" brand of laundry detergent such as Walmart.ca, staples.ca, canadiantire.ca, homedepot.ca, lowes.ca, Rona.ca and many other departmental stores.
